Why do you want to be in a relationship?
Jessica Semaan

I had a teacher once,

He came in form of a relationship, a ‘boyfriend’

He held a mirror up to my face

and suddenly saw everything

Then he dissapeared

People, time, places, things they come in form of lessons

But the work is on us,

The learning is here, now, within

Love is pure — and one way

Only to give,

not to possess.

And like that, relationship and life are sewn with cosmic irony

As if there is some sort of ‘constancy’ that exists

There isn’t, only moments, here and now

So love, love for now, this moment

and learn, grow, in this moment

Right now.
