Board Games and Mental Health

Charlie’s Lesson Plan

I don’t play video games, so for this blog post I chose to write about a board game that is very near and dear to my heart. Since a young age, my entire family has played Monopoly. You may think, “Oh that’s nice, they play games together”. No. Playing Monopoly with my family is not nice, or cute or anything in between.

Monopoly Board

Playing Monopoly with my family is like going to war. There are lies, partnerships, betrayals, sabotage, rage and long term feuds. When I am not playing this game I would say I am a fairly nice and congenial person. When I am playing Monopoly, I become a conniving bitch.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
