This hit rightly. I just listened to a story about a woman who lost a friend to a heart attack. She was in business for herself and decided to go back to school to become a biologist so that she could understand more about heart attack and cardiovascular disease in women. Eventually she figured out how to engineer human dna in mice, induced menopause, came up with birth control in mice, which led to dogs and other animals…i listened to her story and she’s doing fascinating stuff that seems far away from hee original goal but has thought that what she is doing could be applied in humans. That whole straight line from A to B is a myth. The journey is never that straight or that smooth but it’s worth it.
