I think you’re spot on with this. I have a love / hate relationship with my pro. It definitely isn’t the alternative to a macbook that I’d hoped it would be. I do a lot of writing on it and I agree, it’s much harder work that with a traditional keyboard — hooking it up to a decent bluetooth keyboard definitely helps but this isn’t practical if you’re on the move.

On the flip side, I love how it’s always switched on and how long the battery lasts and that I can access my macbook desktop from it. The trouble is, it’s mostly easier to use that macbook.

I’m not quite read to say goodbye to it yet. It’s wonderful for travelling with and for drawing on, but they are really the only reasons I have to chose to use it over my mac.
