Event overview
UCD Bristol is a user-centred design focused meetup, which has been running for almost a year now. It usually has between 25–40 attendees, most of whom work in the user experience and creative industries , including designers, marketing managers, UX consultants and UX specialists.
Currently, we hold all of our meetups at Framework, in King Street (BS1 4DZ).

The meetup runs for 2.5 hours on the third Wednesday of each month. It always starts at 18:30 with nibbles and drinks (beer, wine/cider and soft drinks) to help people relax and do a bit of networking. The main event starts at 19:00.
Programme
Previous speakers have talked and run workshops on a range of topics including AI, digital design, research techniques and agency strategy. We’re open to your suggestions, but bear in mind there will need to be a user centred or UX focus.
We have three formats to choose from:
- A hands-on workshop or talk which lasts one hour.
- Two talks each lasting 30 mins to one hour each.
- A series of short lightning talks from up to 5–6 guests.
We also host regular panel discussions, so please use the form to let us know if you would be interested in taking part in one of these.
