Full pricing and specifications for the new SEAT Ateca SUV have been announced. The crossover SUV, which will share its platform with the new Volkswagen Tiguan will be priced from £17,990 when it arrives in UK dealers on 9th September.

The Ateca kicks off the SEAT SUV story, with at least two other models due before the end of the decade. According to boss Luca de Meo, it’ll help the brand “take another leap forward”, and return the company to “sustainable profitability”.

Seat Ateca Pricing and Options

Three trim levels are available for the Ateca: S, SE and Xcellence; SE models will start from £19,590 and Xcellence from £23,905. Top-spec Xcellence cars will come with a 187bhp 2.0-litre TDI engine, a DSG automatic gearbox and four-wheel-drive, priced at £29,990.

SEAT places a lot of emphasis on incorporating smartphone connectivity and new technologies into its cars. The new Ateca is no different.
It’ll be available with the Media System Plus infotainment system, which is controlled from an eight-inch touchscreen and combines with the rest of the car’s connectivity technology to make the Ateca one of the most ‘connected’ cars available.

This includes the Connectivity Box under the centre console, which includes wireless phone charging, two USB ports and mobile phone signal boosting through the car’s on-board antenna. The new car is also fully compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link, meaning you’re more than likely to be able to control your phone from the car’s touchscreen.
