Come Network with Students, Founders at Startup Coffee+Connect!

Have a business idea? In search of ambitious students to join your startup team?

The first annual UT Startup+Coffee Connect events are the perfect way to kickstart your creativity. Discover your next opportunity and make new friends over coffee and doughnuts at these monthly networking meetups.

The first coffee connect is on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Student Activity Center 1.106. All you need is an open mind and an interest in creating, innovating and scaling big ideas.

From apps/software development to medical technology that saves lives to innovative hospitality, lifestyle and retail goods, UT students are working on big things!

This is also a time for students interested in learning more about UT’s startup resources to talk with Herb Kelleher Center’s Program Manager Ashley Jennings.

This fall, there are also other events such as Entrepreneurship Live! and MoneyTalks.

“I am excited for the MoneyTalks series,” said finance junior Sam Thomas. “Hearing about the investment side of entrepreneurship is important for aspiring entrepreneurs. It’s an amazing opportunity to be a part of the first cohort of the Entrepreneurship Minor. I hope to, one day, return to UT to speak to students in the minor.”
