Undergrad Wins Scholarship to Attend E3

Awarded to the best and brightest students in game development disciplines, the IGDA Scholars program gives recipients an all-access pass, industry mentorship, and local studio tours while at E3.

Dylan Gedig is currently a Computer Science student pursuing a B.Sc with the Gaming and Graphics option at the University of Victoria. He loves designing and creating games because of the unique blend of technical problem solving and artistic creativity that it offers. Dylan is a regular participant in game workshops and game jams, and always has a game in the works. His latest project is a cross-platform game written in his own game engine, with a focus on supporting a range of input types.

E3 takes place 10-12 June 2014 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Tens of thousands of people will attend E3 where game industry professionals will share the latest technology innovations, newest ideas in game development, and best interactive entertainment.
