Redesigning Transport for London’s mobile Journey Planner
We like TfL website, but we think Journey Results screen on mobile needs a bit of love.
Currently user has to scroll every time before seeing actual journey results. Duplicate titles occupy valuable space, and Options button with an arrow pointing down at the bottom of the screen suggests that there are travel options below the fold rather than journey results.
We've redesigned the screen in such a way that you can see the actual journey result on the first page, whilst still preserving existing navigation, visual design language, information hierarchy and access to travel options.
