The UX Haus was born from uneasiness, from the odd will to depart from the comfort zone, from the urgency and, why not, the emergence of Technology’s transdisciplinary role on the market.
Hi, my name is Ernesto Diniz, 40. I’m graduated in English Language, MA in Intersemiotic Translation. I love computers, Aesthetics, and, of course, Semiotics, since I can remember.
I’m a son of the Federal University of Bahia, here in Brazil. At that time, I was part of a Shakespeare in Cinema research group for 3 years. And that passion was translated to my MA, Shakespeare in Social Media. Hamlet on Youtube, to be more specific.
I explored other fields such as Communication and Social Media. I moved to São Paulo. I worked at big Live Marketing agencies as Art Director then Copywriter. Today I’m a Customer Experience Analyst at Nubank. 💜
And every story opens with someone doing something, and then there are obstacles, and then there is the calling for action, and then there is adventure down that road. At least that’s what the hero’s monomyth teaches us.
In fact, there’s always an adventure. That’s the whole fun of the hero’s journey.
So that someone is me living the questionings of professional life. So the obstacles are many. Buried in infinite data feeds, more books to be read than enough time to do so, more or less thrilling companies, FOMO, anxiety and all kinds of crazy that the first decade of the ’00s brought us.
Don’t be fooled, the calling is out there, always. Can you hear it? Because that calling is extended to you, the one reading this right now.
UX came to me as a request to reclaim all my history, my background, and my resiliency.
The decision to new adventures came with the recalling of the memories. The moment to understand deeply that beyond business, USER Experience is the engine that needs to move all the company’s culture.
Welcome to our house, our always-on dialogue. Here we are protagonists.
Remember: there will always be obstacles and that’s why we are here, there will always be callings for action and that’s why we are here, but adventures are just around the corner. It is never-ending.
Welcome to UX Haus. We are User, eXperienced. We are UX monster.
