Enjoy the best local food in Barcelona!

Barcelona becomes once again the Mobile World Capital. Tens of thousands will visit the city this week to present the latest features in the mobile industry, network and, of course, enjoy the city and its gastronomy.

A few days ago, we launched our new on-demand food service in Barcelona,UberEATS, which offers a selection of the best food of the best local restaurants in less than 10 minutes at the tap of a button through the Uber app.

At the MWC, Uber and Deutsche Telekom have teamed up to offer attendees the opportunity to enjoy their first free delivery with UberEATS. This new service is only available, for now, in Los Angeles and Barcelona.

How does it work?

1. Open the app around MWC.
2. Enter the code TELEKOMEATS.
3. Order your UberEATS.
4. Follow real-time the arrival of your order.
5. Stay slope at the point where you ordered (remember to pick-up your delivery in the surroundings of the venue), say hello to your driver and enjoy your meal.

In our ongoing effort to integrate more efficient ways to let people connect with their world, Uber has partnered with two logistics companies, Cooltra and Vanapedal, which offer electric scooters and tricycles to ensure the quality of our service in an area, MWC, with such high demand.

Cooltra is the leader in business mobility on two wheels, with more than 4,000 bikes, of which 500 are electrics, 11 national delegations, 5 international and 100 rental locations in southern Europe and operating for over eight years.

Vanapedal is an eco-logistics company that provides efficient solutions for urban logistics in the last mile. The main advantages are sustainable mobility and accessibility in unrestricted pedestrian areas or tight corners.
