Daily Devos (January 29th)

Acts 9:3–4, — “As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

Saul, one of the biggest and most feared enemies of the church, played a part in killing early Christians, but as we know, no one is ever too far gone or beyond the reach of God’s love. After Saul’s encounter with Jesus here, he would go on to write a large portion of the New Testament and change the world for the glory of God.

Just as God never gives up on us, we must never give up on others or ourselves…God’s grace and love outlast the end of days! :)
