Romans 12:12 — “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

God lays out these three instructions so clearly and simply for us here in this passage. We are called to be joyful in the hope that Christ has given us, be patient in the midst of trials and tribulations, and be faithful in prayer; no matter what season we’re currently in.

As most of you are probably thinking, this isn’t always as easy as it seems. Therefore, I want to encourage you today to trust that God gives us these three instructions for a reason (read the next sentence clearly).

When we embrace what God is calling us to do by being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer; it allows God to move in our hearts and lives, transforming us in new ways for His glory. Sooner than later, you’ll notice this transformation beginning to make ourselves open for what He is doing in our lives. Have a blessed day!
