Daily Devos (September 5th)

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” — John 15:18–19

In today’s culture and society, most individuals are more concerned with being liked than speaking out on what is right and wrong. It is important as a Christian and child of God to remember that preaching the gospel and standing up for biblical principles might turn society against you, but this is what God called of his children.
