Sharing the 6 tips tips with a working professional

By the Grace of Allah Almighty i have got job at Infinity Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. When i was called for interview here, i met Sir Basit who also interviewed me. After i was selected i had interaction with Basit sb and i come to know he is from Uet (RCHT) Campus. I talked him about this discussion and had a good talk that is as follows:

1) Everyone start out doing grunt work till trust is proven.
Answer: He said, yes it is happening. Actually you have to earn reputation so you have to do grunt work.

2) Don’t talk badly about the company or about your boss.
Answer: He said, we are working in a company and in our surrounding we have to respect all of them. We are working with a boss and we are working as an employee in that company. We can’t talk badly about them.

3) Take control of your relationship with your boss and team members.
Answer: He said, yes. It is our duty to make strong relation with our team members and with our boss. It creates a sense of peace and teamwork in a company which is essential for the progress of the company.

4) Find a mentor and manage the relationship strategically.
Answer: He said, if you are facing any difficulty in the job and even a work that is assigned to you. You are unable to do it. You must have to find a proper mentor who guide you and listen to all of your problems and by meeting with them build strong relations.

5) Join a professional body and build your network.
Answer: He said, if we want to be successful and achieve our goals we should have to make professional network by meeting with peoples working in the field or get membership of high ranked organization where we can meet with professional people and have a chance to talk with them.

6) Embrace change and reflect on what you are learning today.
Answer: He said, every day is a new day to learn. If we are not learning from our experience we must have to change our attitude. May be we are not good enough in one situation but we can be good by make a change in our self.
