LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack 75267 Mandalorian Shock Troopers And Speeder Bike Building Kit; Great Gift Idea For Any Fan Of Star Wars: The Mandalorian TV Series (102 Pieces) LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack 75267 Mandalorian Shock

LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack 75267 was announced couple years ago and inspired an amazing response. The minifigures look magnificent and the associated swoop bike seems attractive too, corresponding with the previous 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

These heavily armoured characters are not necessarily the most appropriate for assembling an army, given their varied attire. Nevertheless, their individual quality is brilliant and I think this interesting Battle Pack should prove extraordinarily popular, based upon official images.

Minifigures

Four colourful Mandalorian Warriors are supplied, corresponding loosely with characters from The Mandalorian. These two minifigures are presumably female, based upon their unusual visor designs which reflect the likes of Bo Katan from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Each helmet incorporates some realistic battle wear and I particularly appreciate their distinguishing bright colour schemes.

Similar colours decorate the chest armour. However, these characters appear suitably rugged in my opinion, as though sections of their attire have been replaced. The creasing looks fantastic and I like how some familiar Mandalorian shades, such as sand blue and dark blue, have been incorporated in new ways here! The accompanying black and dark brown capes look wonderful too.

Comparatively muted colours decorate the third Mandalorian Warrior. His dark orange helmet looks impressive though, featuring metallic silver highlights and patterns resembling Jaig Eyes which have previously appeared on Captain Rex. Unfortunately, the dark brown legs are undecorated so contrast with the other minifigures, although this Mandalorian’s torso armour is beautifully detailed.

The fourth Mandalorian minifigure is my favourite. His dark azure armour looks superb, especially in combination with the purple designs and realistic damage across the helmet. I am similarly delighted with the chest armour which covers both sides of the torso and the mismatched leg protection seems perfect. This resolute warrior also sports an olive green cape.

Black heads are found beneath each helmet, perpetuating the mysterious atmosphere that surrounds Mandalorian culture. The minifigures wield stud shooters which is somewhat disappointing given their varied onscreen arsenal, although these weapons provide great play value and the attachment points seem ideal for modification.

The Completed Model

Balutar-class swoop bikes were introduced during Star Wars: The Clone Wars and appeared in 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack. This vessel shares numerous similarities with its predecessor, including the angular flags which form stabilising vanes, but its colour scheme is distinctive and the updated model feels significantly more substantial. I think that may be attributable to its augmented width.

Stud shooters are positioned on both flanks and I like the radiator grilles connected underneath these weapons. Furthermore, the driver can sit comfortably behind the handlebars. The engine seems quite simple but this trans-red piece looks reasonable and the differing light bluish grey and dark tan curved slopes towards the back convey the age of this vehicle.

Unfortunately, the secondary model seems rather bland. This rubble incorporates interesting texture and the colours are entirely appropriate but something more identifiable would have been preferable, following the turret from 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack. However, rubble does help in communicating the Mandalorians’ dilapidated environment.

Turning the structure around reveals space for minifigures to defend their position. Two stud shooters may be attached here, allowing one Mandalorian Warrior to board the swoop bike while another takes cover and watches for approaching enemies. Nevertheless, this model is exceptionally dull in my view.

Overall

Minifigures are certainly the most important feature of any Battle Pack and LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack 75267 includes four magnificent examples. Each minifigure is exceptionally detailed and their colourful armour really stands out, especially beside the accompanying models which are dominated by earthy shades. They also contrast with the eponymous Mandalorian from 75254 AT-ST Raider.

I am impressed with this Balutar-class swoop bike but the rubble is quite disappointing. Nevertheless, the minifigure selection is wonderful and I would have no hesitation in recommending this Battle Pack, even to anyone with limited interest in The Mandalorian television series or the recent Star Wars range.
