In November 2019, Unikeys had the great honour to be selected by Consensys among their new cohort of grantees. This represented a true recognition for Unikeys and all the efforts the team produced since its creation.
Since then, Unikeys has continued to make progresses both on the development of its products and its collaboration with enterprises and NGOs.
Throughout this experience, the team had the opportunity to get in touch with the Consensys staffs from Hong Kong, Paris and Singapore. Those interactions were important since they allowed to present the products to the Consensys team but also to obtain key feedbacks enabling the team to adjust the strategy all along the different exchanges.
We managed to hit certain milestones we set for ourselves especially on a technical standpoint.
- We presented our latest multi crypto mobile app to several key collaborators as well as the Consensys team in Hong Kong that was highly available to discuss and share advice.
- We reached advanced stages of development on our backend infrastructure and solved several issues related to the utilisation of the Bitcoinj library.
- We published all information related to the development of the payment channels based proof of concept.
- Several discussions are taking place with the UNICEF as well as other NGOs.
Those milestones have been reached because of a fruitful proactivity and understanding between Consensys and Unikeys. We are truly proud of having been part of the grant program. This was a great experience and the start of a new chapter.
