A New Type Of Coupon

University Saver has one simple mission, and that’s to save students money on the things they buy most every day. In the past, the most common way of distributing coupons was through a coupon book. However it’s 2016 and nobody wants to carry paper around anymore.

The next best solution is a mobile app, which is the most common misconception about University Saver. University Saver is not an app. We are broke college students and simply can’t afford to build one (for now). Because of this we had to create our our solution to distribute our coupons to students.

Say hello to the mobile wallet.

Mobile wallets are apps like Apple Wallet (formerly Passbook) & Android Pay that store your credit cards used for Apple Pay, your airline tickets, your Starbucks card, and now the University Saver Digital Coupon.

Unlike traditional coupons that only save you money at a single location, the University Saver Digital Coupon has deals from multiple businesses in Tempe and can be used as many times as you want throughout the semester. To access the deals simply flip the coupon over to view a list of all the businesses currently offering a deal. When you want to redeem one of the offers simply click the link and show the resulting web page when you’re ready to pay. It’s that easy!

Heres how it works.

Step 1 — Download the free University Saver digital coupon & add it to your phone’s mobile wallet.

Step 2 — Open your mobile wallet to access the University Saver, & Tap “i” to view current deals.

Step 3 — Click the “use.discount” link & show webpage to the cashier to redeem the deal.
