Interestingly, CBS’s “Person of Interest” approaches the issues of privacy with a similar perspective; except that instead of struggling with the issues of privacy harms to an individual as that of Daniel Radcliffe’s character, the creator and architect of the surveillance “machine” (or “system”) wrangles with the privacy harms exacted upon the whole of society as did Edward Snowden. The series is available on Netflix.
