If you’re itching to hit the waves as soon as possible then Iho Tewoo Beach is only a hop-skip away from the city!

Iho Tewoo Beach may not be the most attractive beach in Jeju, but its prime location allows you to get to the swimming program minutes away from the airport. It is also located near hotels and food tents. They have great camping spots here and conveniently, some public showers around the area. It’s definitely the most comfortable beach you can reach in just minutes!

The beach also holds the Jeju Iho Tewoo Festival, where you can participate in kayaking, fishing, windsurfing, and listening to some good old traditional Korean music.

Hyeopjae Beach is a place you can surely enjoy with the whole family, worry-free.

Populated by many broken shells, Hyeopjae Beach’s 200 m long shore is popular for its creamy white appearance. Its clear blue waters glisten against its white and powdery sand in every wave. Many photos can attest to it, but why stop there when you can experience it yourself?

Aside from its picturesque scenery, Hyeopjae Beach is also a popular beach for families because of its calm waters. Its level stays shallow far out to the sea, while there are also no big waves. Perfect for your little kids!

To fully experience summer in Jeju, you can’t possibly skip THE Jungmun Saekdal Beach! Located in Jeju’s tourist hotspot, the beach features a length of countless picture-perfect palm trees on soft white sand. It’s practically summer paradise in Jeju.

To kick things off, you can enjoy many water activities such as surfing and banana boat riding on the beach. But should you opt for less extreme action, snorkeling is a good alternative. To cap the long day of beach activities, prime hotels, such as Shilla and Hyatt Hotel, are easily accessible from the beach.

An experience like no other, Hahyo Soesokkak Estuary allows you to encounter two of Jeju’s water wonders in one go.

Probably the most unique beach in Jeju island, Hahyo Soesokkak Estuary is composed of the Swesoggak river and Hahyo Soesokkak beach, conjoined together. Its combination allows for a unique mix of salty and fresh water, with variations in temperature too.

For those looking for action, there are many designated rocks here for cliff diving. You can also occasionally surf too! But if you’re not much of a beach person, there’s a wooden walkway alongside valley to discover. You can also opt for a peaceful kayaking exercise or better yet, have a picnic on one of Hahyo Soesokkak Estuary platforms.

There might not be much to see in Pyoseon Beach, but you ought to wait until low tide before you dismiss the idea of visiting this beach. During low tide, its waters turn into an expanse of soft white sand that seemingly spreads for miles. It may not be good for swimming, but it’s definitely one of the best places to walk, not just by the shore, but in the beach itself!
