Also known as “matcha”, Malcha Bingsu is a green tea-flavored dessert that is popular to the young people of Jeju. Cafe Dongne is known for its main menu, the Dang-geun Bingsu. Literally translated as “carrot bingsu”, the dessert is obviously a healthier break from all the heavy rice cakes that come with your usual bingsu. But don’t be fooled by its main ingredient. Although carrots are vegetables, this Dang-geun Bingsu is quite sweet yet still healthy!

Aside from this very local flavor, Cafe Dongne’s venue is designed to have a very homey feel to it. It is also located in an old country-style area of Jeju, Jongdali town. Make sure to walk to the cafe to complete the home-in-old-town experience!
