If LastPass Autofill is not Working! How to Fix it?

Method To Fix If LastPass Autofill is not Working:

  • Check LastPass Autofill is Enabled:

For this, you should tap on the LastPass icon in your web browser toolbar and then access Preferences. After this, you should click on General and then tap on enable the setting Automatically Fill Login Information and then hit on Save. Now, you need to tap on the LastPass icon and then visit to Account Options. Here, you should hit on Extension Preferences and then enable Automatically Fill Login Information and then tap on Save option.

  • Recreate Site Entry:

The user should delete the site entry and for this, you should use the mouse from the vault and then right-hit and press delete option. After this, you should recreate it just by logging in to the site and then Save this as new entry.

  • Use Alt-Page Down:

This issue can be solved by using the good old LastPass keyboard shortcuts or you can use Alt-Page Down for getting autofill back on track.

  • Export LastPass Autofill Data and Use Browser’s Autofill:

First in your web browser toolbar, you should hit on the LastPass icon. After this, you should enter your username and your LastPass Master Password and then tap on Log In. Now, you should hit on the active LastPass icon. At this point, you should visit to Advanced option and then click on Export and then hit on LastPass Form Fill. If it ask, then again enter your Master Password. Here, you need to tap on continue. If the user has the binary component installed, then you have to enter a file name and just save as a CSV file. But in case, you don’t have it installed, then you will view your export info will be there in a webpage. At this point, you should copy and paste the content into a text editor application. At last, you can use the browser’s autofill option.
