It’s a headscratcher why Rose never has developed into a play maker or jump shooter, or both. Those are the logical skills for him to have worked on after his injuries slowed him down. He never did.

Poor coaching? The Knicks are so dysfunctional, that’s a possibility. The triangle offense did Rose no favors, either.

The clock is ticking for Rose; if he doesn’t find a way to contribute more than he has, the end is near. That’s a shame for a guy who, for a brief time, shone so brightly.
