Trusted & Project Night Night
1 in 45 children experience homelessness in the US each year — that’s over 1.6 million children[1]. According to this article on the Huffington Post, the homelessness problem is particularly bad in the state of California. The psychological and physical trauma that these children experience is really hard to come to terms with.
I first heard about Project Night Night through Shreya, my wife, who had read about them on the Golden Gate Mother’s Group. Vivian, my cofounder, and I started to spend more time looking at the organization, and we were really impressed with Project Night Night’s mission — to provide essentials to children during their time of upheaval. Project Night Night distributes over 25,000 Night Night packages each year to children in need, here’s a great story about them in the New York Times.
Trusted’s central mission is better child care, and we couldn’t think of a better organization to partner with, especially during the holiday season. So today, I’m happy to announce that we will donating a portion of all of Trusted’s proceeds (revenue) through to the end of this calendar year to Project Night Night. As a parent who uses Trusted’s services, you should be proud knowing that you are contributing in a positive way to helping families & children in need.
