The members of the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit have taken down another organized drug trafficking operation in our community. On Tuesday, October 17th, members of the VCSO Spec Ops arrested the following persons in the city of Victoria:

Paul Bennet

  • Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  • Manufacturing and Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1
  • Manufacturing and Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Child Endangerment

Morgan Hodge

  • Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  • Child Endangerment

Collin Gloor

  • Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  • Manufacturing and Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1

During the operation, which concluded with the execution of a search warrant in the 5200 block of North John Stockbauer, the VCSO seized the following quantities of illegal drugs:

· 140 grams of methamphetamine

· 1.4 ounces of marijuana

· 2.6 grams of Xanax

“There is no rest in the fight against evil and once again the outstanding men and women of the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office have proven their tireless dedication to hunting down those involved in such evil activities. While there is much work to be done on behalf of the good people of our community, I am confident in the dedication and capabilities of the deputies at the VCSO,” Sheriff T. Michael O’Connor said.
