Extraordinary backsplashes for kitchens over the top

When we think of the kitchen, there is an element that puts us in a bad mood: the backsplash.
How we do it? As the top of the kitchen, or different? Do we paint it or do we put the tiles?

All the decisions you make are related to aesthetics but above all, the ease with which it can be cleaned.

Uh yeah, because the dirt and the heat that accumulates in the kitchen can become a nightmare.

Lately the trend for this part of the kitchen sees the tiles disappear, in favor of more original and sometimes even more practical solutions.

Let’s look at some of them together, shall we?

This will seem like a strange idea, but instead is quite easy to accomplish: coat the backsplash with a single sheet of tempered glass.

You can backpaint the glass with the color you like the most, in contrast with your kitchen furniture or tone on tone. Or, you can apply behind the glass an image you care about.

Aren’t they beautiful, these two girls above?

A more inexspensive idea is to find a fabric you like and cover it with a sheet of Plexiglas. The effect is assured, especially if the fabric has a particular texture.

Two things to pay attention to are the cleaning agents used to clean the Plexiglas; if they are too aggressive they matify it, but also beware of heat: Plexiglas is not as durable.
