Have you ever hear talking of speed cleaning? I’ll explain you here wit

Have you got ten minutes to settle and clean your home? You can still conclude something without having to leave everything as it is. Have you ever heard of speed cleaning?

Let’s say it’s one of those atrocious weeks, in which you had to program everything up until the last second. Almost the thought of sleeping and eating scares you, because they are minutes and hours stolen to all the precious activities you have planned.

In short, one of those weeks that you would like to jump to peaks, to get straight to Christmas. But the move forward button is not there, so you have to stand at the entire week.

Did you think about the house? I mean, when you have in mind to clean it, in all this hustle and bustle?

The weekend, of course. If I told you speed cleaning, what would you answer me?

Did the word speed, light up your curiosity uh? It does not mean that in 30 seconds you will be able to do everything; more than anything else is a different way of thinking about home cleaning.

Let’s try to turn the way we usually take care of our home: hours and hours behind the vacuum cleaner, the mop, the swiffer.

At the end of the day you’re so tired that even the idea of going out or talking with whatsoever/anyone unleashes an hysterical crise.

If I’d suggest you a new way of doing the cleaning, which involves ten-minute working intervals, alternating with ten of amusements, what would you say?

Help yourself with a timer and place it on ten minutes: as soon as the timer starts, dedicate yourself to a home work, starting from a room you want. Let’s start with the kitchen, cleaning the counter top. After ten minutes stop and restart the timer for another ten minutes. This time however, dedicate yourself to drinking, eating fruit and resting for a while.

After ten minutes, reposition the timer and start working again. Keep doing this until you’ve run out of business in all the rooms and start the tour again if you’re not satisfied with how you left them.

In 2 or 3 laps you should have finished. I have prepared you for a program to follow, for the first time you want to try this tactic. Here it is:

It is a new way to take care of the home, without becoming crazy and getting crazy in cleaning, because cleaning is ok, even if done with less obsession. Try and tell me how it went :-)
