How to plan home cleaning to enjoy the weekend

Valentina Di Roma

Have you ever thought that house cleaning can be planned during the week? So you’ll have the weekend completely free for your madness!

Until a few months ago, when Friday night arrived, I was anxious. Saturday’s anxiety. And here will open a world: those who think I’m crazy and those who will have understood from the start what I’m talking about.

If you are a young and carefree, who do little or nothing at home, then you don’t have the slightest idea of the Saturday nightmare. If you live and work all week, with office hours, you already know.

Saturday is the day to devote to the house cleaning: didn’t you think you would rest and fuck around eh ??

At the end of the day I was devastated by fatigue and it seemed to me, I had lost a lot of time. Since I cannot stand the sense of frustration and dissatisfaction, I had begun thinking of creative and alternative solutions.

Do you think that after 5 days closed in a humpback working, I have to waste the weekend too? It urged an alternative. And I found it …

Have you ever thought about it? I’ve always questioned that, because I was convinced that after a working day I would have never find the strenght to clean home.

But … to be 100% clear: you don’t have to kill them all in the evening. You can put down a running chart day by day. For example: Monday goes vacuum. On Tuesday, all floors will be cleaned. Wednesday is dusty. On Thursday let’s clean the bathrooms. Fridays do washing machines or ironing.

In short, a plan that is comfortable for you and your habits.

Or you can decide to plan your cleanings according to the rooms: bedroom on Monday, kids room on Tuesday, living room on Wednesdays, kitchen on Thursday and the bathroom on Friday.

It is up to you to choose.

Another very important thing is to set the frequency of home cleaning (here a post with a free printable reminder). It is not necessary to do everything, every day, because: who has the time?

It is great just to find time for boyfriends and husbands.

And then, don’t do the cleaning as if you were going to forced labor. Make it a bit more enjoyable and easier … Maybe listening to some music at all pace!

Set one of Spotify’s playlists dedicated to cardio training … you will see the speed at home cleaning!
