Mini-appartamento, maxi-ingegno - Interior designer & Home stager
Oggi niente girovagamenti in giro per il mondo, rimaniamo a Milano e andiamo alla scoperta di un mini-appartamento…
Today no wandering around the world, we stay in Milan and go to the discovery of a super small micro-apartment.
Just 13,5 square meters and if we think about it we realize that it is the space that is usually dedicated to living room only.
The architect who made this incredible transformation is Silvana Citterio; with skills and intelligence she has managed to transform a tricky and improbable situation into a winning and original one.
From obstacle to strength
Crem8 before Silvana design appeared as a mini-apartment with only a shower and the technical unit of the technical room for condominium stairs with an height of 1.20 m.
As a beginning many could get discouraged, but this is not the case. On the contrary: the whole project revolves around this room, becoming the pivot of the platform that you see in the photos.
A whole side of the mini-apartment has been equipped with this platform with double if not triple function: kitchen, bedroom and living area and wardrobe.
The kitchen is hidden under the load-bearing and folding decks of the platform and it lacks nothing.
At sight there are the bed — a sofa and a small table for lunch and study. And the closet?
Have no fear: there is also the closet, hidden under the platform and accessible via a trap door. It does not remind you a bit of a pirate ship ??
The bathroom is in the bottom of the apartment and is equipped with a large shower 90 x 90 cm with shelves and niches for supporting all that is left around.
Materials used for the whole house is teak, hardwood and resistant to water, along with the white as the dominant color.
Obviously mirrors are fundamental: when space is mini, they are the first real friends to widen the perspectives.
And as someone said “Less is more.”
