We’re excited to announce that Chainlink will be integrated into the upcoming VIBE SDK. Working alongside a talented team like Chainlink is very exciting and we can’t wait to open up new applications for blockchain gaming by expanding the VIBE developer toolkit to include Chainlink.

What is Chainlink?

Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that enables smart contracts to securely access off-chain data feeds, web APIs, and traditional bank payments. Chainlink is consistently selected as one of the top blockchain technologies by leading independent research firms such as Gartner. It is well known for providing highly secure and reliable oracles to large enterprises (Google, Oracle and SWIFT) and leading smart contract development teams.

What is the VIBE SDK?

The VIBE SDK is designed for developers who are building gaming & entertainment applications and platforms. The VIBE SDK has a number of unique components tailored to those industries that give developers the essential tools needed to build out their applications and platforms. Lets take a look at the 6 core features of the VIBE SDK.

1) Transactional Support for all blockchains and currencies integrated onto the VIBE ecosystem.

Developers will be able to seamlessly integrate all currencies and interact with smart contracts from the various blockchains in the VIBE ecosystem.

Currently supported currencies and blockchains include Ethereum, VIBE, NEO, BNB and Chainlink. More support for various blockchains and currencies will be added in the future such as Bitcoin and the Lightning network.

The VIBE ecosystem is built on a layer 2 solution that facilitates instant and atomic micro transactions with no gas fees. All transactions are displayed on a public ledger for complete transparency.

2) User authentication & management

When developing a multiplayer game, user management is essential. User management enables special features like matchmaking, saving player progress and game state. Additionally, it allows users to perform secure transactions on the network.

3) Multiplayer voice chat, messaging and video chat

P2P plug-ins to facilitate voice, video and chat messaging between players, as well as NAT Traversal service.

4) Storage for digital assets

Often times when building large games or needing dynamic content, developers require access to a storage layer and delivery network to maintain a wide variety of digital assets.

5) Machine Learning Support

Machine learning plug-ins providing easy TensorFlow integration.

6) Chainlink Oracle Service

The chainlink integration as a plug-in offers developers the option to securely access off-chain data feeds, web API’s, and traditional bank payments. Developers can also securely offload certain computation to high-throughput off-chain environments, and then relay it back on-chain when needed. All from the convenience of one gaming tool kit.

Conclusion

The VIBE SDK was built with developers in mind to save time and effort, while also providing certain features that are not available in any other SDK or Tool Kit. We pride ourselves in putting everything a developer needs to build a secure gaming and entertainment application on one convenient platform. We would like to thank you all for your continued support. Stay tuned for more updates on the VIBE SDK.
