It’s Official!!! First performance capture takes place Friday, December 15th

Our token sale ended ten weeks ago and since that time our team has worked continuously to achieve this milestone. We are excited to formally announce the capturing of our first music performance this Friday, December 15th in Los Angeles, California.

This is not only exciting news but also signifies a tremendous step forward for both our company and the community. The performance capture commences on December 15th, but will be available to purchase on the oculus store by January 20th under the VIBEHub application. The cost of the performance will be $8.99 U.S.D payable to the equivalent amount in VIBE.

The artist we are working with for the first capture is Planet Asia. Planet Asia is a legendary west coast hip-hop artist whose career spans over two decades. He has an extensive musical resume that includes a plethora of albums that display a penchant for varied subject matter, witty punch lines and his signature delivery. After initially being signed to Interscope records, subsequently being nominated for a Grammy in 2002, as well as past work with Linkin Park and countless other musical acts, Planet Asia presently manages his own label. It’s an honor for our team to partner with a living legend with an accomplished musical resume.

We have several artists already secured for our upcoming hologram capturing sessions in addition to navigating logistical and legal issues for others. We will have an established schedule of artists and educators beginning in the first quarter of 2018.

In addition to Planet Asia, we will also be capturing VIBEHub’s founders Alessio Mack and Matthew Myers in our first session. This capture will utilize all aspects of Volumetric Video technology with both of the founder’s holograms being placed in custom VR environments as well as in Augmented Reality; this will include settings such as living rooms, kitchens and various streets just to name a few examples. Alessio and Matthew will also be explaining the process of holographic capture while being transported between multiple VR/AR environments. This video, while not for sale, will serve as both an introduction to the VIBEHub site and as an example our platform’s unique capabilities.

We will be doing vlogs on Thursday and Friday of this week to give the community a behind the scenes view of our team and both captures. They will subsequently be posted on our YouTube channel the following Monday.

The availability of Vibe currency on our platform within one month’s time is very important when negotiating with new exchanges. This is one of the key steps the VIBEHub team needed to execute in order to be listed on large exchanges such as Bittrex and Binance. We are now able to display how dynamic, futuristic and lucrative this technology can be. We are willing to travel anywhere in the world to meet with the necessary individuals to make this all happen. Once the performance is available for purchase, all marketing campaigns will be directed towards being listed on the largest crypto-currency exchanges.

CES is less than a month away and we have exciting plans for the upcoming Monster booth to showcase the VIBEHub platform. Additionally, we are also in the process of finalizing a marketing placement in the Monster Super Bowl commercial this year. The Monster brand includes many important partnerships, including a scheduled meeting with Microsoft to discuss VIBEHub’s involvement in the future of VR/AR technology.

What our team has accomplished in the ten weeks since after our token sale ended has been nothing short of amazing. The upcoming year is only going to bring increased visibility and positive exposure to our currency. We would like to also thank our community for their continued support.
