Ingredient Checklist

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 large lettuce leaves (butter lettuce or romaine works well)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Your favorite low-carb sauce (sriracha mayo, ranch, etc.)

Instructions Checklist

Step 1

  • Prepare the Filling: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  • Stir in diced bell pepper, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes until the peppers are tender and the flavors are well combined.

Step 2

  • Assemble the Wraps: Lay out the large lettuce leaves on a clean surface. Spoon the turkey mixture onto the center of each leaf.
  • Top with sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese (if using), and a drizzle of your favorite low-carb sauce.

Step 3

  • Wrap and Serve: Fold the sides of the lettuce leaf over the filling and roll it up to create a wrap.
