We’re excited to let you know that we will be joining Ocean Protocol’s meet-up in Berlin on Tuesday 25th September! The event will take place at Silicon Allee with pizza and beers on tap and doors opening at 6:30pm.
Secure and anonymous sharing of data is tedious, and traditional methods have so far failed us. Ocean Protocol are interested not only in the emerging technologies which facilitate secure data sharing, but also in the potential of a world where enough high-quality data is available to propel future applications forward.
This is exactly why our partnership with them is so apt as we look to create a new data economy for energy.

Talk: Exchanging data for electricity: a new data marketplace for energy with the consumer at its centre
Maria will provide insight into the rich and untapped energy data sets in the home that can be unlocked by high-speed data sampling and advanced AI. She will discuss how this rich data can fuel a new data marketplace for energy where consumers are empowered, providing a means for them to monetize their data by, in essence, exchanging it for electricity. Maria will explore the value behind our new business model that will be facilitated by the Ocean platform, and the importance of providing a safe and secure ecosystem whereby consumers are in full control of their data.
