✨✨✨ Verv Highly Commended for Sustainability at the Business Green Leaders Awards ✨✨✨
We’re pleased to announce that Verv was recognised in the “Innovation of the Year Award” category at the Business Green Leaders Awards that took place last week! The awards are now into their 8th year, and “shine a light on the UK’s leading green businesses and recognise the immense progress the UK’s green business community has made in recent years, as sustainable business models and clean technologies have continued to force their way into the mainstream.”
The awards are decided by a panel of 16 judges who are executives and leaders in green business, including Labour’s UK Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change! The integrity and transparency of the judging is an important factor when considering Verv being commended for innovation in environmental sustainability.
We were commended for this award for our peer-to-peer renewable energy trading platform.
We are very pleased with this result as it is another acknowledgement of our efforts to promote renewable energy, optimise energy trading and our ultimate goal of bringing consumers’ energy bills down to £0.
In 2017 we were the proud winners of 3 awards at the Business Green Technology Awards: “App of the year”, “Future City Technology of the year”, and “Technology of the year”. With such a big win, it is encouraging to see that our continual efforts to innovate are still being noticed!
