Making a sizeable investment in one’s education in order to skill-up or change careers when there are a lot of unknowns, like — “Will I be able to repay my loan?” can be daunting.
V School has been tweaking the conventional since 2013 including creative funding options, and superior educational products that lead to better outcomes.
In 2017 the average US student carried $39K in student loans, many without a significant job prospect afterward, and frankly we don’t find that acceptable.
As we talk to students from all disciplines, we find that student debt is taking a toll on the learning process, often interfering with student retention & success.
Students should no longer have to default to this outdated paradigm to get ahead in life, and V School is obsessed with changing this.
An Income Share Agreement (ISA) is a shared-risk option of lending that now 40% of our student body has chosen to use since its implementation in 2017.
Essentially ISAs function as a safer alternative to lending that co-shares the responsibility of career growth. When you’re not working you don’t make payments on your tuition.
We actually don’t require any tuition payments until you land a job making at least 40K after graduation.
V School offers two different ISA options, a 2-year plan at 20% repay and a 3-year plan at 30% repay. You will never repay more than 30k, no matter the option, and if for any reason you aren’t working, we pause your payments until you are.
Because we greatly believe in our curriculum and staff, we’re offering a unique opportunity without discrimination. The only criteria points are: 1. Must have authorization to work in the United States 2. Must be 21 or older.
