Thank you for your advice. I knew it was a bad decision to use Socket.IO with Meteor. I actually tried to comprehend the documentation of the web socket but it would have to take some time. The project was kind of urgent so I decided to use what I already knew at the time.

Yes, it is my lack of knowledge on the platform but I will surely come back and try to use Websocket instead of Socket.IO in Meteor.
