These piecharts illustrate the similarities and differences of activities that make people happy by age group. The result shows that approximately one third of the individuals both under and over 30 consider achievement at work to be the number one thing that makes them happy. It also reports that about a quarter of both age group love doing their hobbies.

However, there are also vast differences between the two age group. Twenty percent of men and women over 30 stated that they are happy if they have financial security whereas about the same amount of people under 30 prefer having good appearance. The graphs also demonstrate that 15% of the younger group is into travelling when 14% of the older group just want to be with their family.

Only 14% of the people under 30 and 10% of other older group gave other reason which renders them as minorities.

A conclusion that can be drawn from this analysis about activities that brings happiness is more than half of each group share the same point of view. Either achievement at work or doing their favourite hobbies would make them happy.

This is one of my preparations for IELTS writing exam. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Cheers
