NFTs are dead! What the heck is Web3? Is it all a scam? Why are you still in crypto?
These seem to be common reactions we hear from laymen regarding involvement in the Web3 space. However, engaging with your active Web3 users, you hear quite a different story–one of building, community spaces, and unlimited opportunities.
We at Vabble fall in the latter category and are always looking for individuals within the Web3 space and particularly the #Film3 space who are supporting the community. As such, in between our weekly newsletters we will be showcasing 10 people and projects who we believe are worth following. These are not in a hierarchical order, but are merely a list of those building cool stuff for the space.

Is a Writer Director and one of the leaders of production house, Stalker Films. Based in Dublin, Mark has led the charge for a new age of independent films in Ireland with films such as Cardboard Gangsters repeatedly trending on Netflix. He is currently working on converting his film Stalker into a unique NFT collection along with working on other WEB3 projects to be released in the future.

Supported by the infamous Colors Studio, ColorsDAO is a Web3 community of creators from around the world. There is a wide range of talent from musicians, film makers, and photographers to production managers, brand designers, and writers all sharing their art and talent in the discord. Their discord is a great place to network with others and contribute to various DAO initiatives.

Kino DAO is the first project of NFT Studios and is building a decentralized movie studio. Through their film network and NFT community they are able to cut production costs and allow for community members to submit content to be voted on through the DAO and moved into production. They are a launch pad for those interested in entering the film industry.

Dan is a leader in the film industry and has made a name for himself in Web3 with his most recent project, New Here. He is creating a film story meant to educate others on the power crypto has in shaping everyday aspects of our world.

Gossamer is the brainchild of Bron Studios, and is being brought to life alongside Wild Thunder Studios, XYZZY, and ImmutableX. This project is creating a new age of storytelling through a TV-component and AAA game. Their artwork and community are amazing and we recommend checking out their discord to get more involved in their elaborate metaverse.

Akee is a builder in Web3 and is followed by other heavy-hitters in the space. Akee is building the NFT project, Bear X Labs and Script Network which is a watch-to-earn and television streaming platform. Their content is always engaging and is someone we recommend following to keep up with developments on Script.

Is the co-founder of METACITZN, a decentralized media production studio. Veektor and METACITZN came on our radar through their film, NOT_A.JPEG, which premiered at NFT NYC. Roy is the founder of Amazon Video and Amazon studio and is forming his own Web3 SVOD at fomo.works. We highly recommend checking out Roy’s twitter threads as he talks about decentralizing Hollywood and the future of media. His Web3 principles and executive experience run parallel to what we are building at Vabble. We definitely recommend giving Roy a follow.
