Hi! My name is Val, and I’m often writing driven by emotions. This is one of the night I can’t sleep thinking about metaverse and MetaDojo! This means I need to write about it now — maybe it will make me free my mind and eventually see sweet dreams)))

Virtualization of life

COVID’19 changed the rules of life whenever you see. We all were, and some still are, isolated. Working from home, shopping online, party through web… As the photographer, I even had the photoshoot online! Just yesterday I understood that I am already isolated for more than two years: COVID-19, First months as a mother and then the war has come. Every reason has made me have all my social life online. Nevertheless, I love it in some special way!

But if we already have little limits in virtual life, why should we invest into Metaverse development? Furthermore, COVID-199 is not that influential now: kids can already get their vaccines too! Hence, do we need metaverse or is it better to get offline to the previous life? These and other questions are striking my mind right now!

Online vs Offline

It seems to me that when the one most influential Metaverse is developed (like Facebook or Twitter among social networks), the world society will be even more separated. To generalize, I would like to mention two camps:

  • Metaverse lovers. People who moved their life fully or its huge part online into metaverse: working there, meeting friend, watching movies in meta-cinemas, etc. They love the new life, new technology and think that it should take care of more and more spheres in life.
  • Offline community. These will go offline with every possibility. They can even get a depression when need to spend a lot of time online, at home alone.

Will these communities survive together? Will they make peace? Cooperate? I doubt.

But what life would you choose now?

On the one hand, I remember reading one of the books of Isaac Asimov there was a planet described with people living all their social life online. Robots only were for offline. What I read described an unhealthy community with lots of psychological disorders. Metaverse can bring all of us online, make lazy and even more shy. We can lose some of our communicational skills, forget about walks and sport, about healthy food, about fresh air. Will we get frightened to look people in the eyes or touch someone? I think it is possible.

On the other hand, as I have already mentioned, I loved a part of my virtual life. And here you go, my answer to the question: “Why we need metaverse?”

Do we need Metaverse?

I need metaverse to have no boundaries in communication. First, I am not that shy online. I think a lot of you can understand that! Secondly, I have made so many friends I would never have met offline in some other life. But I can’t have real party experience without metaverse! Moreover, I have been on one of the parties in MetaDojo already, and I am so excited about the future of Meta future, that can’t even transform it into some common words!

I need metaverse to have no work limitations. Right now, I am writing as crypto ambassador and enthusiast. I work with people from all over the world, on projects that would never exist without virtual possibilities and online working platforms. What can metaverse bring new to us? Can you imagine real business lunch, but online? It should become possible with metaverse!

There are other spheres we need it: psychology session, practical lessons in school, conferences, team building meetings, etc. We miss a lot in online communications now, with no metaverse possibilities.

But, as I have already told you in the very beginning, not only communication can be online, but shopping, travelling… (my mind has stopped with this too, I think now it is time to sleep, but I will write few more thoughts down here).

MetaDojo

It would be rude, even taking into account that I am already preparing another article about the project, not to mention some details here, especially as I have mentioned it already. MetaDojo is a kind of virtual architecture bureau. It develops NFTs for metaverses to provide real life experience and some magical emotions for meta users.

As I have mentioned above, I was on one party there in the great location with pool and stage. I had an unforgettable experience!

To be or not to be

To summarize, I think I should make my point clear on the metaverse future. I hope that we will get a really great metaverse with lots of possibilities. I think we are close to that already. Nevertheless, we should never forget about our offline life. We should never (yes, never say never, anyway..) exchange all our offline life to online, but use virtual reality for new, impossible today, possibilities!

Sweet dreams to me!

Have a nice time of the day to you:)
