Thanks John for your insight. Mostly I lived a fairly hectic life, full of social interactions, but more and more often I feel the need of space and silence. I try to make room for it during my day, and that’s challenging, and not always enough. You have chosen to live a life centered on silence both within and without and that’s fascinating to me, as many times I find myself wondering how it would feel. I guess and hope being “prisoner of silence” ultimately bears a positive connotation for you. Is that so?
