Recently I received a review copy of an new Illuminated version of the Bible. The Bible is an English Standard Version so thi sis a good translation. As you all know some translations ar better than others and I feel that the ESV is one of the better ones.

I found this version to be well made and quite durabale. It is a hard back version and with the special golden lettering it probably won’t be your “take me to church Bible”, but then it seem so most people are using their phones at church now anyway. But that’s an entirely different discussion.

I did have two thing so personally didn’t like about the version and these are just me. The type is 9 point and my eyes are getting old. LOL. I need a bigger print font wise. Also the gold is hard to read. It looks beautiful though but clearly this isn’t an everyday bible.
