How to Make Money from Your Blog. Yes. Seriously.
Ever wondered how people make money blogging…even when they aren’t selling anything? It’s a simple
trick called monetization. At Valkeryie Consulting, we specialize in monetizing blogs 10–15 different
ways and we are ready to share our secrets with you in this exclusive guide that will take you through
the steps required to make money from your blog! How much? That’s up to you, but the average person
who utilizes our system earns $1,000 or more per month.
And we don’t think $1,000 or more per month (per blog) would hurt your feelings any, right?
So? Here we go!
Here are the first three steps you NEED to take in order to get your blog up and running.
Step 1: Get a webhost

How WE do it:
Go to BLUEHOST and sign up for their ultra-cheap monthly hosting plans and get a FREE domain name. Then, install the Wordpress plug in, log into the Wordpress control panel and pick a theme.
***Side note: Most themes available for free are cute, but not that professional looking in nature. We
highly recommend getting a custom theme from Mojo Marketplace or Elegant Themes for best results. This investment will require $20 to $100, depending on the complexity of the theme.
You will also likely need to hire someone to customize and build the theme for you, another investment of anywhere from $40 to $200.
How WE do it:
Download a copy of our FREE website set up check list to get some ideas on the static pages you need for your site as well as some other useful information.
After that, you’re ready to start blogging! It’s important to have content up and running on your site PRIOR to applying for any affiliate site. Ensure you have at least 10–20 posts on your site before you start applying for paid gigs from sponsors or for affiliate programs.

PAY PER CLICK SITES — YOU ARE PAID WHEN SOMEONE CLICKS YOUR UNIQUE AFFILIATE LINK OR SIGNS UP AS A LEAD FOR THAT AFFILIATE SITE

As many of these are affiliate banks (meaning they house and host thousands of affiliate programs from
across the web), all you have to do is log in, fill out your profile and then select ads that would be a good
“fit” for your website. Apply to each advertiser program, get approved and install the ad code on your
blog.
Of course, some of your favorite sites might offer up affiliate programs all their own, and administer them directly, so it’s worth it to check and see if your favorite programs and products are on affiliate programs — because passion always sells!
Then, place links targeted to the demographics of your readers.
HINT: Don’t know what your demographics are? Install Google Analytics on your pages and select
weekly reports to your email. If you don’t know how to do this, no problem, we can do this for you for
$50.
For example, if your demographic is women between 18 and 36, it would be smart to have ads that
would be attractive to that audience, i.e. shoes. Starting to get it now?
