USERS GROUP

FIRST MEETING AGENDA

I am Walker Santiago the President of the user Group and this is Rigo the Vice president. We have both invited all of you to this group because we know and respect your work.

The group is being formed because there is currently no group to represent Civil 3D users in Austin.

Start introductions, people say there name where they work and how long they have been doing this. Keep it brief and professional. Give the first example.


Concept behind the Group.

Here we want people to bring their knowledge and open minds and not worry that people are going to just take your Civil 3D styles.

We are going to work on creating all new content from concepts, tips, tricks & best practices from the group. Leave your styles at work. Bring your ideas and questions to the group so that all the technical minds can come up with something fresh that can be shared among the entire group.

After researching other user groups I saw that the typical meeting format is not great for creation or keeping people interested.

How are we going to create new ideas, styles, e.g.

We are going to ask you as individuals what you’re interests are.

Here is a sticky pad for each person. Write your name and your civil 3d interest or issue.

I am going to group all of these interests up to recognize the patterns.

We have Groups now. That will need to be guided and facilitated.
