13 tips for those who are constantly on business trips
The most important thing regarding a business trip is concentrating on solving work tasks. Everything else should consume very little energy.
PREPARATION
1. Remember that there is not always an online check-in available
Keep in mind that not all cities have international airports where you can check-in online. This simple knowledge will one day save you from being late for a flight.
2. Forget about stars when choosing a hotel
Stay in hotels somewhere in the middle of the route, between workplaces and places of evening activities. There are excellent hotels that are located outside of the city too. You will lose a lot of time in traffic jams during the day and will not use the evening time for informal meetings. If a secretary is engaged in preparing your business trip, be sure to tell about your priorities, as chasing your comfort can play a cruel joke.
3. Book seats “on the wing”
Firstly, you can stretch your legs, secondly, you will feel less turbulence during the flight, and thirdly, you will not stand too long in the line at the entrance and exit from the cabin of the aircraft.
4. Schedule every day and build a clear route
Let the route contain a brief summary of each meeting (goals, information about partners or clients, what you are going to do and where you are going) and the map. The map should include several variants of the trip and exact addresses: of your hotel, office, cafes or restaurants.
Reserve enough time between meetings to travel around the city to avoid unplanned delays. Print out the booking confirmation.
5. First hour rule
Do not schedule appointments less than an hour after arrival, if the flight is short, and after three hours, if you have been flying for a long time. It is ideal to arrive before noon; almost a full working day is at your disposal, and you can catch a meeting even in a state-owned company.

PREPARATIONS
6. Bring a minimum of clothes with you
People often take too many things with them; they think about the weather, and bother with make-up and shoe kits. In fact, we do not even pull out 70% of those things from the suitcase.
How to determine a reasonable minimum?
- The number of trousers = the number of days on a business trip/2
- The number of shirts = the number of trousers + 2
- Plus a jacket.
- One of the shirts should be necessarily white.
The main rule is that the pants are combined with the shirts. Most likely, you will wear the jacket one or two times, so it would be enough if it were combined with a pair of sets. If a super official meeting is scheduled, take a suit and a tie with you. The costume will fly in a separate case. I put all the rest into the special packing cubes
7. Fly with travel bags
If your business trip lasts not more than five days, leave the suitcases at home. First, you save time, because you do not need to expect the baggage on arrival, and besides you check-in for a flight at a separate stand for people without baggage. Second… you save time!
8. Identify the things without which you will feel uncomfortable
Maximum comfort will allow you to fully concentrate on your tasks. It can be anything — from headphones and perfume to talismans. We recommend for you to take with you: phone, laptop, power bank, notebook, hand cream, hair and beard styler, perfume. All of this can be packed into a special cosmetic bag or a bag for cords

9. Do not fold, but rather roll up your clothes
In this case, there will be fewer creases on it, and it takes up less space in your bag.
10. Arriving at the airport an hour before departure is normal. An hour is enough at any airport.
ARRIVAL

11. Immediately upon arrival, confirm all working meetings once again
This will allow you to not waste time and promptly adjust your plans for the upcoming day. Generally, during one-day or two-day business trips it is necessary to do everything as quickly as possible in order to have time to solve more tasks. Short business trips are dangerous because you are always short of time.
12. Immediately upon arrival at the hotel, give the hotel everything that need ironing
Usually this service is inexpensive, but it saves time and allows you to feel comfortable and confident.
13. Book a taxi in advance
Find out from the meeting party as to which taxi is best and what the average, adequate price is from the airport to the city center.
