I definitely hear what you’re saying. But I think part of the challenge here is that all women can really do in this situation is tell you how your actions affect us. (And even that, if I’m being honest, doesn’t always seem to go over very well)
We aren’t you, we haven’t lived in your shoes to any meaningful degree, and so I feel like any attempt at us trying to “fix” you will come off as uninformed or missing the point. I mean…I’ve definitely heard men complain when a woman tries to do this!
Men know what’s best for men. Men know what other men go through…at least certainly more than women do. And so I feel like men should be leading the charge on adapting to the world we live in today. That’s what women did several decades ago!
