Introducing the Venom dApp Spotlight: Showcasing Innovation in the Venom Ecosystem

The Venom ecosystem is constantly evolving, with numerous projects and teams working hard to build unique dApps. To recognize and celebrate this creativity, we’re excited to launch the Venom dApp Spotlight, a new initiative that will feature in-depth interviews with the teams behind the projects shaping the future of Venom.

Each edition of the Venom dApp Spotlight will shine a light on a different project, allowing you to get a closer look at the innovations that are driving our ecosystem forward. Whether it’s gaming, NFTs, or DeFi, you’ll hear directly from the builders about their vision, challenges, and the opportunities they see within Venom.

Venom Frogs: Our First Spotlight Feature

For our first edition, we’re pleased to introduce Venom Frogs, a standout project that has quickly made waves in the Venom community.

Venom Frogs is a tap-to-earn Telegram game where users earn coins while founding their own crypto projects and competing against others. The project also boasts an NFT collection available on the Oasis marketplace. We sat down with the team to learn more about how Venom Frogs came to life and what makes it special.

- Can you tell us about the origins and unique aspects of Venom Frogs? What makes it stand out from other dApps?

The project was born at Venom’s Token Forge hackathon, where teams competed to create their own NFT collections in a short amount of time. We created Venom Frogs and took first place, and that led to a good deal of interest in the project. In just a couple of days, we gained several thousand followers on Twitter and our collection completely sold out (with a 3x price increase by the way)!

Now, we are the best-selling NFTs on the Oasis Marketplace and recently we announced the launch of our own TMA (Telegram mini app), where users can take their frogs out of the swamp and build up a large company.

- Have you ever built on other networks, like EVM-based networks? What advantages have you found while building on Venom and TVM?

Yes, the team has created projects on other networks.

Building your project with Venom is convenient. First of all, because Venom has the most accessible transactions. On Ethereum, transactions sometimes cost $60 each, and on Venom they are 100 times cheaper, making it much more developer-friendly.

Also, Venom has been great at providing support, both for us and for other projects. Whenever there are any questions regarding development paths, they help and advise, and ensure we have the resources we need.

- Based on your experience building on Venom, what advice would you give to future builders coming to the network?

We can only speak positively about working with the team and the network! Our intentions are to further integrate into Venom and grow together with the network.

Our advice to any builders would be to take a closer look at Venom! And do not hesitate to reach out to the Venom Team for help with anything that you aren’t sure about. - What are your thoughts on the current landscape of meme tokens and NFTs?

We believe in NFTs! There is a great future in store for NFTs and there will be a lot of projects that will use NFTs for all different kinds of purposes. As for meme tokens, this is still an unpredictable trend but there is a lot of hype around them at the moment.

- Is the project looking for investors?

We are currently building the project using our own resources. The team has a good safety net in place, but we are also actively searching for investors and are ready to consider interesting proposals.

- Can you tell us about your future plans for Venom Frogs?

We have already sold out our NFT collection and successfully launched a Venom Frogs TMA (join us!). In the near future, we will be adding significant utilities to our NFTs, but the details on that are still a secret.

- Your website mentions a secret for your followers — can you give us a small hint about what’s coming next?

Our NFT collection will soon undergo some cool changes, and we will be introducing some interesting mechanics to our app that will appeal to people of all ages.
