The newest contest on the DAO is dedicated almost exclusively to multiplayer p2p games based on RIDE. We would like to inspire developers to research old and new fascinating game designs and find creative solutions on how to decentralize their gameplay and reward system. In addition, considering that p2p games need multiple players, there is room for experimentation with referral mechanics where one user invites another one to play, helping the game to scale and get more popular. And of course, as with any gamedev contest, there are the familiar tasks of making it as fun as possible and user friendly, using Waves Keeper and other Waves technology. The final aim of this contest is to list your game prototype on dAppOcean.io

Since 2018, when the Waves Ambassador program was first launched, we have achieved amazing organizational results. Many thanks to all the Waves ambassadors who are actively participating in the life of the ecosystem!

Soon, we are relaunching the ambassador program to make it more organized and systematic, with a primary focus on developing regional communities and bringing in more project creators or builders onto the platform. Here is our proposal.

Congratulations to the winners of the Dev Bounty and thanks to everyone who donated and left reviews!

The Dev Bounty contest is finally over, and we are thrilled to announce the entries that have received grants from Waves Labs. It became apparent that the DAO community is very skillful at recommending the best projects with their donations, as the entries with the most donations were given the largest grants.

The first batch of grants distributed via the DAO, with a total value of 10000 WAVES, has been sent to 9 projects.

In an effort to move towards more interconnectivity on the platform and incentivize user-user interactions, we have implemented a hassle-free way for you to send or receive funds from or to any other member of the DAO through transfers & invoices. Below is a short guide on how these features work.

Transfer

  1. To transfer WAVES, find a user you would like to send funds to in the Community section and click on the “Send funds” button below their profile pic.

2. A pop-up will appear where you can ensure that you’re sending your funds to the right person and specify the transfer amount. At the moment, you can transfer only WAVES, but at a later stage we plan to introduce WCT, WRT (ambassador token) and Neutrino-based tokens (USD-N) into the picture. …

At Ventuary DAO, the power to decide who receives a grant is in your hands. You can influence the outcome of the contest by donating to a project (either after registration or anonymously) and leaving a convincing review to demonstrate to the grant-makers that the project you like is worthy of funding.

Remember: donating at Ventuary DAO is profitable! You can earn up to 150% of your donation when the project wins a contest. Write reviews and share to increase chances for the projects that you support.

Dear Ventuary DAO community!

In light of the fact that the crowdfunding reward system of Ventuary DAO might seem confusing to some at the early stages of platform’s development, we wrote the first detailed introduction to explain the core crowdfunding/grantmaking mechanics. Please note that this is our initial model that we are testing at the moment and it may change drastically during the course of development.

The first thing to remember is that your contributions to a project combine the functionality of making a donation, providing feedback, and betting on the possibility of the project receiving a grant. When you contribute, not only do you support the project directly by funding it but you also help its leader to attract the attention of grant makers and to improve the overall submission by leaving thoughtful reviews. …
