It is amazing what arguments meat eaters are using to deny that there is a problem.
I was utterly disgusted when I immigrated from Europe to North America to see what humongous amounts of food including meat they have on one plate (according to research portion sizes are double of what they are in Europe). A T-bone steak easily comprises a one-week supply of meat according to research on a healthy amount of meat.
Abundant eating of meat causes undeniably a plethora of problems: for the environment (animal waste polluting the land, the air, and most importantly water supplies), and health issues (the healthiest diets have meat as a condiment nothing more).
Furthermore, modern mass production of cheap meat can not survive without massive use of pharma products like hormones and antibiotics.
Finally, it takes multiple kilograms of grain and water to produce 1 kilogram of meat and bring it to market. This could easily feed many more people than a meat-based diet.
