What Problems Does Verve Solve?
Despite the tremendous growth of the online content and live streaming industry, the viewers and the content creators continue to get the short end of the stick as far as revenue share goes.
Indeed, the majority of popular live streaming and content sharing platforms, including the likes of YouTube, Twitch, and Instagram, take a large cut of the ad revenue generated from their creators’ videos. Others, including TikTok, don’t share ANY advertising revenue with their creators — instead running very limited and selective monetization schemes.
We find this to be unacceptable. While platforms like YouTube and Twitch have grown to be multi-billion dollar behemoths, the creators that helped them get there have been left shorthanded.
