Your first thought may be that this is slow and constantly creating and changing objects could throttle your app. It won’t — take my word for it. Some really smart guys have worked a lot in order to ensure that this doesn’t happen.
Is this really true? Applying FP principles very vigorously might lead to many unnecessary iterations and more memory allocation for variables etc. I am too much of a beginner to make any sweeping claims so — are there any gotches for the above statement?
